My name's Trevor. Nice to meet you!

This Blog is a way to keep those who are supporting me through prayer and finance updated on the happenings in my mission and in my life.

What's my mission?
Or more accurately put, what is my dream?
For those who have no news of Him to see, and for those who have not heard to understand.

Despite popular belief, Japan is the number one most unreached country in the world.

Roughly, only 50% of Japan's population has even been told the good news.
Considering it's population count is around 127,433,494, there is still much work to do to save these people from spiritual death.

Sadly, only 1% of Japan's population are believers in Christ

In the past decade, the suicide rate in men has risen 80%. Nearly 600 Japanese people take their lives a week.

The crime rate has risen an outstanding 150%. Fear and uncertainty has now found home in the hearts of the Japanese.

My heart is full of sadness for these amazing people. I love them deeply and wish for them to know that we are not alone, that the God who crafted the universe is here, and is on our side! I want them to know that man's salvation has arrived! We have so much reason to live and to rejoice in our Father and Savior! He well never let us go, and will love us forever and ever and ever, no matter what.

I have a vision of a free Japan. A Japan free of fear, uncertainty and spiritual darkness. A Japan that unwaveringly follows Jesus and that is in a constant state of loving worship for our King, The Lord of the universe, who named us and called us His own!

Take a few second and think through that last sentence. The very one who made everything in the heavens and everything on this very earth loves us, and thought that we were worthy to die for.
Isn't that amazing?!

My Dreams:

That someday all of Japan will be singing for our King. The whole entire country.
Now, you're probably saying, "Trev, your crazy! There's no way.", I'm saying, "Yes way!" the God we are worshiping can do absolutely anything! It is recorded both Biblically and historically that an uneducated fisherman was able to lead 3,000 people to Christ in one day. Think about that number for a second.
That's huge!
And the very God who used that fisherman, Peter, is the very same God that is with us right now. The same God that is holding us in His hand and saying "Do not fear. I will always be with you."
That is why I believe that this dream will become reality.

However, in able to accomplish amazing things, we have to take things one step at a time. One of my purposes for this blog is to display my current objectives, which are:

• Finish High School
• Continue learning Japanese, Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji
• Increase my knowledge of God's Message
• Stay focused solely on God and my dream
• Possibly go on a short-term missions trip to Japan next summer
• Join TEAM
  
• Prepare myself to live in Japan
  

My Future Objectives (for when I'm living in Japan):

• Help establish a Contemporary Christian Japanese record label
• Plant a Church in every village, town and city
• Empower those who will do amazing things through their music and ministry

Through the mercy of God and your prayers, It will be possible to accomplish every last one of these objectives, which is why I'm asking for your prayer support. Currently, I need prayer that:

• My mind will be able to easily learn and retain all of the stuff I'm studying
• I will have the strength and courage to let everything go, and give myself entirely for the work of Jesus
  
• Japan will be sheltered from false teachers and liars and that their minds will be open to the good news

I thank everyone who is supporting me now and who will support me in the future, I couldn't do any of this without your prayers and support for me. I'm in your debt. This is an exciting time in my life, where things are being brought back into perspective. We are so small, yet God is so big and he loves us all immensley. He wants every nation to see Him; and to know that we live under a friendly sky.
